The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at RESONIKS, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and delivery of advanced mechanical systems that underpin our acoustic quality control solutions. You will take ownership of projects from concept through production, applying deep technical expertise while influencing design decisions and solutions that meet the highest technical, functional, and quality standards.

This is an on-site position based in Tampere, Finland.

  • You possess excellent English language skills, enabling you to clearly articulate complex concepts and effectively collaborate with global teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and enhancement of mechanical systems, ensuring seamless integration with our cutting-edge acoustic technology.
  • Actively engage with customers and suppliers, fostering strong, professional relationships and maintaining transparent communication channels.
  • Utilise advanced CAD software to develop detailed engineering designs and comprehensive documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met, quality standards are maintained, and the final deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Skilfully handle multiple projects at once, delivering high-quality results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing resources and timelines effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, demonstrating a successful track record in project delivery.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated expertise in CAD software, with a strong preference for SolidWorks.
  • Strong ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic overview and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Business-level fluency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Finnish or German is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and represent the company at various business and industry events.
