Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst – Water Technology (Desalination & Water Solutions)
Location: Porto (travel frequently to Spain) hybrid system
We are looking for a highly experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining relationships with key players in the European chemical industry, and contributing to the strategic growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and manage the end-to-end supply chain processes for inorganic chemical materials.
- Implement supply chain methodologies to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and support strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the European chemical industry, including suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with European market regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and logistics providers to achieve cost-effective and reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align supply chain capabilities with market demands and customer needs.
- Implement technology-driven solutions to enhance supply chain transparency, efficiency, and reporting.
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging players, and developments in the inorganic chemical materials sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the chemical materials industry.
- Deep understanding of the European market and established relationships with key players in the chemical sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chains and achieving measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain analytics tools and software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of European regulations and compliance requirements for chemical materials.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages (Spanish, for example) are a plus.
- A degree in Chemical/Materials Engineering or Chemistry is considered a strong plus.
