What we're looking for
Here at SMARTEX.ai we’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to integrate an exploratory projects Team to design custom solutions to install our hardware products at our clients' sites. It is a hands-on job and deals directly with our clients and partners to assess the conditions for the installation of the systems and find the best solutions for testing and concept validation. Some key aspects are creativity and pragmatism to design robust, creative solutions which are cost-effective and production-ready and ability to deal with concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
Design custom parts and solutions for different types of machines
technical requirements in the field and remotely
Visit our customers and partners in Portugal and abroad
Read, write and interpret technical documentation
Write technical manuals for installation and assessment
Design and run mechanical tests
Building and installation of prototype
Qualifications
You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
+1 year of relevant work related with engineering solutions
Proficient in Solidworks
Proven communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Knowledge of project management concepts (preferably)
