In light of our unwavering commitment to sustainability, Smartex is pleased to announce the availability of an internship program that harnesses the untapped energy generated during textile production to power our AI hardware systems. The circular knitting machine has been equipped with Smartex hardware to mitigate waste. By capitalizing on the circular motion inherent in this apparatus, we have discovered a unique opportunity to utilize the otherwise wasted energy to power our systems.
During this internship, you will be tasked with:
Designing and evaluating a system that effectively converts mechanical energy into electrical power.
Delve into various storage alternatives for accumulating the energy, which will be employed, among other possibilities, to stabilize the power supply within the system.
Take responsibility of the cost-effectiveness of the devised solution.

🛠️ Skills & Experience

You are enrolled in a Master's program focused on Electronics or a closely related field.
You have previously design PCBs even if just as a hobbyist.
Circuit analyses skills.
C/C++ programming skills.
Great spoken and written English.
Independent and self-driven.
Track record of excellent teamwork.
