Conduct an extensive literature review on optical systems, image analysis, and AI/ML techniques related to textile defect identification.
Collaborate with our expert team to design and develop an optimized lighting system for image acquisition and processing, considering factors such as wavelengths, light angles, and camera types for application in new textile machines.
Explore machine vision and machine learning methodologies to enhance defect detection accuracy, including developing advanced image analysis algorithms.
Create and test a prototype image acquisition and analysis system incorporating data visualization and analysis modes.
Analyze and interpret the results obtained, driving improvements and refining the system based on empirical findings.
Document your research, methodologies, and outcomes in a comprehensive report, providing recommendations for future enhancements.
