The Algorithms Team:
Our Algorithms team is a versatile Software Engineering team. They build production-ready software for complex problems that require technical and innovative solutions.
The team combines:
- Software engineering ability;
- Technical expertise in fields such as Computer Vision, Signal Processing and Sensor Fusion, Kinematics, Control, Data Science, etc;
- Product and clinical awareness.
The largest example of their work is the motion tracking and motion analysis that enables our AI Care Specialist to guide our members during their exercise sessions:
- Providing real-time feedback;
- Collecting valuable movement metrics.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures;
- Define and perform manual tests thereby ensuring the quality of new developments;
- Identify defects and track issues through resolution;
- Be an active participant in all parts of the software development process, cross-functionally, making sure testing “shifts left”;
- Conduct investigations by analyzing logs and using internal support tools;
- Document functional requirements, test results, team processes and tutorials;
- Proactively and clearly report status and quality risks to stakeholders;
- Support Product Operations tasks such as configuring devices, conducting pilot/testing sessions with users, etc.
What you need to have:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in Software (QA, Support, Development, Research, etc.);
- Solid knowledge of software testing and the software development lifecycle;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Portuguese and English);
- Comfort with version control and task management software;
- Ability to interpret and analyze data of different types;
- Ability to interpret and write functional requirements while leveraging the context gained by continued product usage and a user-centric mindset;
- Great time management and organizational skills;
- Proactive attitude, flexibility, critical thinking.
What we would love to see:
- A technical background, preferably Engineering;
- Technical experience in testing (test management tools, test automation tools);
- Basic knowledge of Python (or scripting in other languages);
- Basic SQL knowledge.
